Radiology Scholarship Policy

  Purpose:  It is the purpose of this policy to enhance the recruitment and retention of students
  in the Radiologic Technology program in the Greater Kansas City area through funding.

  Eligibility:  Individuals must be enrolled in a Radiologic Technology program at Penn Valley
  Community College, School of Radiology in Kansas City, Missouri or at Research Medical
  Center School of Radiology, Kansas City, Missouri.

  Application Requirements : 

1. Scholarship program is funded by The Research Foundation.  Scholarship awards range from $500 to $1,000 each.  Completed applications must be returned by March 1.
2. Renewal is possible each year for those who reapply and meet the criteria--a maximum total of two years. Notification of awards will be make by May 31.

  The Research Foundation, formerly the fund raising entity for Research Medical Center,
  became a separate non-profit organization following the sale of Health Midwest/Research
  Medical Center to HCA, a for-profit company on April 1, 2003.  The Foundation exists for the
  continued benefit of the community and its improved health status.
