    As a way to bring the message of safety to thousands of school-age children across the metro, The Research Foundation’s ThinkFirst injury prevention program observed Red Ribbon Week Oct. 24-28 with assemblies throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area.

  • Cass County Dental Clinic hosts open house

    The Cass County Dental Clinic and Research Belton Foundation hosted a grand opening celebration for invited guests. In addition, the clinic partnered with the Belton Chamber of Commerce to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony, officially welcoming the organization to the community.

  • ThinkFirst wins People Saving People Award

    ThinkFirst of Greater Kansas City received the People Saving People Award from the Kansas Department of Transportation for the impact it has made educating young people about safety belt usage and safe driving practices in the hopes of preventing them from suffering a traumatic injury, or worse, as the result of a motor-vehicle crash.

  • More than $100K awarded in nursing scholarships

    During the 2011 school year, The Research Foundation awarded in excess of $100,000 in nursing scholarships to more than 50 student applicants.

  • ThinkFirst Receives Proclamation from Missouri Governor

    ThinkFirst Missouri received a congratulatory proclamation from Missouri Governor Jay Nixon during a special presentation on June 23, 2010 in the Governor’s Office at the State Capitol in Jefferson City. Governor Nixon honored ThinkFirst for conducting outstanding injury prevention and traffic safety programs in Missouri for 30 years.

    The Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City (HCF) is pleased to announce the Research Belton Foundation/Cass County Oral Health Coalition as the first recipient of the Healthy Cass Award.
