A Night of the Arts Benefits Nursing Fund

The 11th Research Royal Roast benefits Kansas City's nurses

KANSAS CITY, Mo., (Nov. 20, 2015) – The Research Foundation hosted its biennial event, The Research Royal Roast, November 14 at The Ritz Charles in Overland Park raising more than $90,000 in net proceeds to benefit nurses in the greater Kansas City area.

Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception, dinner, silent auction and, new to the Roast, a Festival of Art event featuring local artists. Dr. Lane and Tiffany Snyder served as chairs of the event.

All proceeds from the event benefited The Research Foundation’s Nursing Scholarship fund. The Research Foundation provides more than $100,000 in scholarships to undergraduate nursing students annually.

"The 11th Research royal Roast was our most successful Roast to date. We are extremely pleased with the level of support and are excited to use these proceeds to further nursing education," said Cynthia Randazzo, Foundation president.
