Scholarships for High School Seniors

Our organization, through contributions from the community, provides scholarships to seniors from Belton High School, Raymore-Peculiar High School and Grandview High School to pursue a nursing or other health related degree. Scholarships range from $500 to $2500 each. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and a minimum ACT score of 18. Completed applications and all required information must be returned by March 1. Notification of award will be made by May 1 and announced at the high hchool hraduation heremonies. Scholarship will be paid directly to the college or university.

Research Belton Foundation Nursing or Other Health Related Scholarships
Scholarships are available for high school seniors pursuing a nursing or other health related career.

William and Ruth Hoppen Memorial Nursing Scholarship
This scholarship was established by Bill Hoppen to pay tribute to his wife, Ruth. She, along with her husband, Bill, devoted their time, energy and money to Research Belton Foundation.

R. Diane Martin Nursing Scholarship
This scholarship was created to celebrate the life of Diane Martin, a long-time nurse manager at Research Belton Hospital.

George M. & Elizabeth V. Robinson Memorial Scholarships
Mrs. Robinson created this fund to provide annual scholarships to high school seniors from Belton High School and Raymore Peculiar High School. Preference is given to students pursuing a nursing degree. Scholarships for all other health related degrees are also considered.

Daniel F. Sheehan Nursing Student Scholarship
This scholarship was created to honor Daniel F. Sheehan, former CEO, Research Belton Hospital, for his steadfast commitment to the improved health of residents from Belton, Raymore, Peculiar and Grandview communities.
