 izing the importance of wearing a seat belt and making good\, safe decisio
 ns behind the wheel.</p> \n\n<p>Attendees begin the class by following the
  path of a car crash victim at a trauma center. Hospital staff share their
  experiences with crash victims in the emergency room\, radiology\, intens
 ive care\, and physical therapy. Students meet young people who have suffe
 red from permanent brain or spinal cord injuries as a result of a motor ve
 hicle crash. The class ends with the Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper
 s talk about working crash sites and making death notifications to familie
 s.</p>\n<p></p>\nParticipants are asked to arrive between 7:40 and 7:55 a.
 m. for check-in. The class is free of charge.\n\nPlease call 816-276-4900
