Medical Assistant (MA) Scholarship Application

The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage and support medical assistant students at Concorde Career College – Kansas City. The goal of this scholarship is to assist students that may be struggling to meet both academic and financial obligations while completing their externship. Scholarships of up to $3000.00 are awarded to cover any personal expenses that students incur while on externship. The scholarship is paid via stipend through the Concorde campus. Half of the awarded scholarship will be awarded in the first externship mod (1201) and the other half during the second externship mod (1202).

Eligibility

Only students enrolled in the medical assistant eight-month program at Concorde Career College – Kansas City are eligible to apply. Students are eligible to apply during the 4th term within the medical assisting program.

Completed online application. 

Deadlines

Applications should be completed by the end of the 4th term. There will be no exceptions made to the application due date. Award notification will be at the beginning of the 5th term. Funds will be distributed by the end of the first week of the 7th term (1201) and 8th term (1202). A student will receive half of the awarded scholarship the first Friday of their first externship mod (1201) and the other half the first Friday in their second externship mod (1202). In accordance with Family Education Rights and Policy Act of 1974 (which is popularly known as “FERPA” or the “Buckley Amendment”), I hereby authorize the name of college or university listed above to disclose information in my education records to The Research Foundation, including any and all academic and financial records.
