Verda Salberg’s zest for life and her compassion for others shows through every day through Verda’s Place which is providing monetary support for utility assistance, transportation, medicines, food and more while at the same time providing patients with comfort items such as wigs, prosthetics, lymphedema sleeves, scarves, hats and many other items.

After Verda’s Place provided hats for Jason, helped him pay his rent, and allowed him to focus on the fight in front of him, he could look forward. Now, he is concentrating on being cancer free.
Tarone's seizure was only the beginning of his medical journey. A neurosurgeon removed his brain tumor and ran a biopsy. He was then diagnosed with metastatic melanoma in April 2022.
Bobbie Clark beat cervical cancer in 2018. Just three years later, she would end up back in the hospital with lung cancer.
