KANSAS CITY, Mo., (Nov. 2, 2021) – Scholarship applications for sophomore and junior nursing students at Avila University, Research College of Nursing, and William Jewell College are now available through The Research Foundation.
In 2021, The Research Foundation awarded more than $255,000 to 66 nursing students in the Kansas City area.
Students must be admitted to the traditional nursing program at the three select schools and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to be eligible to apply. Nursing Accelerated Option and Nursing Accelerated Track students are not eligible to apply. Students accepting the HCA Forgiveness Loan are also not eligible to apply. Scholarships may only be applied to tuition.
