Our Advisory Directors are volunteers dedicated to support The Research Foundation. Members gather to learn about issues in health care that affect our community and support events to further The Research Foundation's programs that address these issues. Advisory Directors pay a $100 membership contribution each year.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Research Foundation offers Advisory Directors several opportunities to serve on committees and volunteer. Please select the activities you would like to participate in.

Will assist in coordinating the annual Golf Classic. Volunteer opportunities include recruiting sponsorships, obtaining course prizes, securing auction items and general planning of the overall event. Committee meets monthly from February through April.
Will serve as a volunteer for the annual Golf Classic in August. Duties include working registration and packet pick-up, distributing snacks and beverages, working the on-course contests and other activities. No meetings.
Will assist in coordinating the Candlelight Ball or Research Royal Dinner & Auction in November, which includes a cocktail reception, dinner, auction and entertainment. Committee traditionally meets four times February through May.
Will help develop an annual membership plan to recruit new members for appointment to the Advisory Directors. Committee also plans the four annual luncheon or breakfast programs for the members. Committee meets once per year.
Helps with administrative tasks and office projects on an as needed basis. Volunteers can choose to help based on their availability. Generally this is connected to our mailing campaigns and includes stuffing envelopes and labeling postcards. Assistance is also need with a variety of activities prior to our special events.
The foundation has several committees that meet quarterly. The bylaws allow for Advisory Directors to serve on these committees based on their interest and expertise. The Investment Committee is looking for new committee members to join. The committee meets the fourth Thursday in January, April, July and October.
