
KANSAS CITY, Mo., (Jun. 30, 2025) – The Research Foundation has awarded $34,000 in scholarships to students studying physical therapy in the Kansas City region.
Eligible students were enrolled in their second year of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program with a graduation date of December 2026 at Rockhurst University or May 2027 at University of Kansas or University of Missouri-Columbia.
Scholarship recipients from the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Rockhurst University include Maria Cesonis, Emily Grither, Barbara Heard, Kylee Martin, Jade Martinez, Kaitlyn McConnell, Jennifer Paez, Lily Strauss, Jordyn Sucha, and Agnesa Vilott.
Scholarship recipients from the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Kansas include Mariah Broxterman, Kacee Coast, Taegen Larsen, Mackenzie Mohl, Brooklyn Nordhues, Hudson Ramierz, Blake Renken, Evelyn Roesner, Kailea Smith, and Tara Woods.
Scholarship recipients from the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Missouri-Columbia include Emma Allison, Mikaela Bowels, Zachary Boyer, Noah Breitenstein, Makenzie Crook, Christina Elliott, Maya Hartz, Emma Hatch, Leah Hilsenbeck, Alliosn Kramer, Madelyn Mason, Sianna Meadows, Rachel Ottman, and Kayleigh Waters.
The Research Foundation also awards scholarships to traditional and transfer BSN, accelerated BSN, licensed practical nursing, radiologic technology, nuclear medicine technology, and radiation therapy students.
