KANSAS CITY, Mo., (Jul. 28, 2021) – The Research Foundation will host the 2021 Hoeper Primary Care Symposium Friday, September 24 at the Sheraton Overland Park Hotel.
The Hoeper Primary Care Symposium will provide primary members of a healthcare team with the tools and knowledge needed to identify and treat various conditions of their patients. The symposium is named after Dr. Sam Hoeper, Sr. Dr. Hoeper practiced medicine at Research Medical Center for 47 years. Before his career as a doctor began, he was a teacher, principal, and coach. As a man who valued education, he was dedicated to providing opportunities to learn. Dr. Hoeper, Sr. passed away in August 2008. He established the Hoeper Bixby Fund through The Research Foundation to provide support to host medical symposiums and conferences for the benefit of the local medical community.
The symposium, sponsored by the Bixby Institute, The Research Foundation, and Kansas City Southwest Clinical Society, offer physicians seven AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ and nurses seven contact hours.
