Dr. Kelley Young was a board-certified, fellowship-trained hematology-oncology specialist with Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute at HCA Midwest Health in Kansas City, Missouri and Johnson County, Kansas before she passed away in 2021. Dr. Young had nearly 15 years of experience and specialized expertise in lung cancer. She received numerous awards and grants and was an active clinical researcher. She served as a lead investigator for several clinical trials in her field and authored numerous research papers. She also served as an assistant professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, and in multiple professional committee and leadership roles.
