KANSAS CITY, Mo., (May 4, 2026) – The Research Foundation will host the 2026 Candlelight Ball on Saturday, November 7 at the Sheraton Overland Park Hotel. The biennial event will benefit The Research Foundation’s health-centered programs and partnerships that serve health care students, health care professionals, patients, and the Kansas City community.
The event is a black-tie gala that includes a cocktail reception, photo booth, dinner, and dancing. Guests will be able to purchase tickets for a chance to win the Golden Ticket Basket that includes a variety of items and certificates. Sponsorship opportunities are now available. Individual tickets to the event will go on sale August 3. Dr. Francis Dailey of Premier Gastroenterology of Kansas City is chairing the event and Dr. Chelsea Curry of Forward Pathology Solutions is co-chairing the event.
