The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage and support allied health students through the funding of Nuclear Medicine Technology scholarships. View a list of available named scholarships.

Eligibility
Students entering their final year in the nuclear medicine technology program are eligible to apply. Students must be enrolled at the Research Medical Center School of Nuclear Medicine Technology or University of Kansas Medical Center Nuclear Medicine Certificate Program. Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to be eligible to apply. Preference is given to students who are from the Greater Kansas City area or plan to work in the Greater Kansas City area. This scholarship is for tuition only. If you are receiving FULL tuition support from your school or other source, you are not eligible for a scholarship.

Application Requirements
1. An essay answering the following questions. Please include your career goals. Scholarship selection is based primarily on the essay component of the application. Your essay must include your name and not exceed one typed page.

What factors influenced you to choose nuclear medicine technology as a career?

How would you see your role as a nuclear medicine technologist influencing patient outcomes in a positive manner?

Deadline
The deadline to apply is October 1. Notification of awards will be made by December 5. Funds will be distributed to the schools by December 20.
