The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage and support allied health students through the funding of scholarships for students studying Medical Laboratory Science. View a list of available named scholarships.

Eligibility
Individuals must be enrolled at University of Kansas Medical Center-School of Health Professions, University of Missouri-Kansas City, Rockhurst University, NKC Health School of Medical Laboratory Science, University Health Truman Medical Center Medical Laboratory Science Program, or Saint Luke’s School of Medical Laboratory Science. Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to be eligible to apply. Preference is given to students who are from the Greater Kansas City area or planning to work in the Greater Kansas City area. This scholarship can be applied to tuition or paid to the student in the form of a taxable stipend for living expenses while completing the program. Scholarships will be awarded to support students during hospital-based clinical rotations being completed in Spring 2027.

1. An essay answering the following questions. Scholarship selection is based primarily on the essay component of the application. Your essay must include your name and not exceed one typed page.

Deadline
The deadline to apply is October 1, 2026. Notification of awards will be made by December 5, 2026. Funds will be distributed to the schools by December 20, 2026.
